Bio
Kate Rannells has been a self-declared sculptor since
she was six years old. After many years exercising
her sense of wonder she is using it to document a
history that never happened using the detritus of
others' lives.

She works in found objects, recycled materials,
printmaking, metal and ceramic sculpture, encaustic
painting, and photography. She tries to invoke
(provoke) awe in other people; but will settle for a
good belly laugh.

Kate currently resides in Oakland, CA.
